Where to Eat... |
Breakfast |
The best breakfast in town is by far at Landmark's. Not only do they have breakfast, but they have everything else that you could think of! You can also order it all day. They have a whole cake display full of yummy desserts that they bake fresh! |
Lunch |
For lunch, you must try Owen's Barbecue. It's by far the best I've ever had! It's a local favorite, and the owners know everyone by name! |
Dinner |
La Scala Italian restaurant has the best Italian food! It is a slightly upscale restaurant, so it's definitely good for a night on the town. It's centrally located in downtown Rome, so it's very easy to access. |

What to Do... |
Morning |
I would spend the morning shopping at Mount Berry Square Mall. After the mall, I would go to the stores on Broad Street, which is the historic area of Rome. There are a wide variety of stores, such as Paula's Silver & Gold, Ginger's Dollings & Cattywags, Antiques on Broad, etc. |
Afternoon |
For the afternoon, I would go and visit Oak Hill & the Martha Berry museum. Martha Berry is the founder of Berry College, which is a large private school in the area. Oak Hill was her home. Both places offer wonderful tours rich in history and culture. |
Evening |
Before dinner, I would check out a local play at the Rome Little Theater. The theater is also located in the beautiful historic district and usually has one live theater play a month, starring local actors. |
Late Night |
After dinner, I would go to the Callier Springs Country Club for dancing. There is always a good crowd, and always fun to be had. You'll never leave there without a smile on your face. |
