My perfect weekend with my kids and my husband would be in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is a larger city, but it has a small town feel.
My family and I would stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. At the Choo Choo hotel, you can stay in a traditional room, or you can stay in an actual train car! We would stay in the train car. My kids love it! The cars have been renovated, and they are so charming and cozy. We would eat breakfast at the Gardens Restaurant at the hotel before beginning our fun day!
First, we would visit the Tennessee Aquarium. They have so many different exhibits, and my kids always learn so many cool facts! They also have a new butterfly observatory that my daughter just loves. With the aquarium admission, you have the option to watch an Imax movie. After we finished at the aquarium, we would go to watch an Imax movie.
After the movie, we would eat lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger. They have huge hamburgers, and a great 1950's atmosphere. They also have a huge selection of milkshakes.
After lunch, we would visit the Creative Discovery Museum. It is so much fun there, my husband and I played as much as our children did! They have a ton of interactive play sections.
For dinner, we would relax and unwind from our day at the 212 Market Restaurant. They have really great steaks, and chicken fingers for the kids.
Chattanooga, Tennessee offers something for everyone, and it's a great place that we enjoy as a family! |
